Featuring works in a vast array of artistic styles & media, "In 3-D" includes 18 sculptures & large installations by 10 artists, the show was juried by Donna Napper (Curator at San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art), and looks to answer the question:
"What is the 3rd dimension . .
. . . and why are we willing to pay extra to view, a movie show in "In 3-D"?
A screen typically gives us images with height and width . .but there is something about the 3rd dimension -- depth -- that draws our attention and makes us feel more involved, more connected . . It is my intention that this exhibition, conveys that experience to our viewers at Art Ark Gallery."
