Italy's IMAF Chef’s Cup arrives in the Bay Area for a fantastic culinary showcase of food and the arts. The first Michelin-starred cooking show dedicated to putting art on a plate, brings two of Italy’s most acclaimed chefs to the Bay Area on September 9, 10 and 11 for a final showdown to name the international winner.
Il Fornaio Restaurant in San Francisco will serve as the beautiful backdrop for all three cooking shows starting at 6:30 pm. Chef Rosanna Marziale will showcase her 100% Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP during a special dinner for guests on Monday, September 9. Her Spaghetti Gragnano is served with San Marzano tomatoes with Mozzarella di Bufala. The dish was inspired by the famous Italian film, “Poverty and Nobility”. While showcasing delightful selections from her restaurant, “The Columns”, her main dish, La Pizza al Contrario, (reversed pizza) is certain to entice guests after winning international acclaim during the Italy stages of the competition. Reservations can be made directly with Il Fornaio by calling (415) 986-0100.
