ICEE HOT is back again, this time for a weeknight one-off featuring BICEP!
The London-via-Belfast duo of Matt McBriar and Andy Ferguson make no secret of their love affair with classic '90s house. Starting out as fervent vinyl diggers, they went on to found the excellent Feel My Bicep blog, showcasing forgotten gems in the realms of deep house, acid, garage, disco, and more. They've since expanded into the realm of production, and have founded their own label, also titled Feel My Bicep. 2012 was a huge year for them, as they released underground anthems such as "$tripper," "Vision Of Love," and "You," a co-production with Ejeca. 2013 is looking to be just as big, with the duo DJing all over the globe and spreading their New Jersey garage-influenced sound to delighted dancefloors everywhere they go. Look forward to an evening of booming 909 kicks, cheeky piano riffs, soaring diva vocals, and all-around timeless house vibes in the Oddjob Loft at Public Works.
And of course, your ICEE HOT buddies Rollie Fingers, Shawn Reynaldo, and Ghosts on Tape will be on hand to warm up the spot as well.
