Andre Hart holds his last one man show in San Jose, CA March 28th 2015 at The Citadel Gallery at 199 Martha St, corner of 5th street from 7pm to 1am before he takes on New York City. The show is titled " iBecome". The artist will be showcasing his new style in painting. For the last 5 years Hart has grown up in front of our eyes. From an 18 year old kid showing at 10ten Gallery, to a 20 year old expressionist surrealist showing in Kaleid Gallery, a 23 year old portraiture American Artist, or the 24 year old 40 foot Muralist to the now "distinctive geometrically nuanced painter."
"I feel a great artist must stay in a constant stage of becoming," Andre says, "If I stop changing I’ll get bored with what I am working on. Sure there are artists who are recognized for that one style, but I have many styles and forms of making art. I have seen in my short time here, people getting stagnant in one way of creating. It can be detrimental to some but for others it is a blessing. For me, it is my instinct to keep changing. So I feel the best title for this show is iBecome. That title sums me up as an artist right now in time."
