Husalah began his career with the Pittsburg, California-based group Mob Figaz. Their first album, C-Bo's Mob Figaz, was released in 1999 and was a minor hit on the Billboard Hip Hop charts, entering in at #63. The album sold fairly well with 160,000 units sold. With an independent spirit and a mavericks mentality, Husulah, Is not afraid to be different. He’s worked with many of the most successful bay area artist of all time like E-40, Too Short, The late Mac Dre, and Andre Nickitina. With more than 500,000 records sold independently, even Bay Area new heavyweights like “Iamsu” can appreciate Husalah, as he’s (Husalah) one of his favorite artist. His live Shows are some of the most spirited and unique performances one will ever see, filled with a lot of energy, costume changes and hard knocking beats. Husalah’, Rap Style is Gangster yet it’s filled with so much soul and charisma, he leaves most of his fans annoyed he does not drop more music more often.
