It's that time of year again...when hillbilly robots crawl out of hiding from boxes in the back of dark basements and from the depths of foggy mad scientist laboratories. But instead of being armed with lazar guns and death rays, these hillbilly robots are friendly and bring with them fiddles and banjos and a plethora of old-timey mountain songs.
February welcomes 8 nights of Americana music to the Inner Richmond, from hot bluegrass to outlaw country to Tin Pan Alley tunes to hillbilly boogie and country swing, plus a tribute to Johnny Cash, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, and Merle Haggard. So put on yer bestest country duds and head on down to San Francisco's month-long urban Americana music event, Hillbilly Robot!
