The 1st annual HerStory Empowers Awards hosted by BWOPA/TILE will recognize 6 innovative Bay Area women under the age of 40 years old.
The community is invited to nominate their favorite social change agent in the following award categories - Health, Education, Criminal Justice, Economic Security, Arts and Entertainment & Technology by June 20th.
Of the nominations submitted, three (3) semi-finalists will be chosen in each category & publicized on June 22. Semi-finalists will be posted on Facebook and community friends are encouraged to vote and finalists will be announced at the event. Tickets & sponsorship opportunities available.
