The Monterey Museum of Art on Pacific Street is proud to bring you its newest exhibition, "Henri Matisse: Improvisation". This exhibit features prints from the Jazz Portfolio of the collection of the MMA. Henri Matisse's unique works consist of cut-out paper paint-less "paintings", and, along with Pablo Picasso and Marcel Duchamp, is considered to one of the artists who helped to define revolutionary developments in the plastic arts of the early 20th century.
