Richard Powers and his beautiful wife Tracey have graciously accepted to offer 1hr dance lesson to support this event. Richard is an internationally renowned dance instructor and historian. He is a full-time instructor at Stanford University's Dance Division and a recipient of the Lloyd W. Dinkelspiel Award for distinctive and exceptional contributions to education at Stanford University. Richard has been teaching contemporary and historic social dance for over 35 years. He leads workshops around the world.
Tracey Powers has been supporting the LLS, Team In Training, and its mission since 2009 and is currently a mentor on the Mid Peninsula Run Team. She has also taught and partnered a variety of dance classes, including Irish ceili and set dance, waltz, and 19th century ballroom dance.
The University Club of San Francisco is a beautiful venue for the City’s cultural and intellectual life. If you haven't been to the club yet, you are in for a treat.
