Happy Fangs, San Francisco's war-painted art-punk duo is celebrating their first bandiversary by headlining The Rickshaw Stop a year and a day after their first show ever.
This will be San Francisco's first chance to buy copies of the band's first self-titled EP. Digital copies will be available Oct 1.
This show will be a hometown send-off as the band heads east to showcase at CMJ in New York Oct 15-19.
Their set will include several special guest appearances by:
The ladies of rival band, Vela Eyes, Go-go dancers from ODC modern dance company, Members of Death Valley High.
It's shaping up to be a rowdy party. CMJ.com says that Happy Fangs "makes the kind of music that’s really good for riling people up, which is good, ’cause we like being riled up."
The band encourages fans to join them in wearing black & white to the show. Warpaint will be provided.
