The UCSC Opera Theater presents two family matinees of the children's opera "Hansel and Gretel," based on the popular Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Composed by Engelbert Humperdinck, the story follows the eponymous Hansel and Gretel as they make their way through an enchanting and mysterious forest, and encounter dwarfs, elves, fairies, a princess and of course, a scary witch.
