Halloween fun & games begin on the haunted grounds of Pardee Home 45 minutes before show time! Show Times are Friday & Saturday, Oct. 28 & 29 at 8:00 pm; Sunday & Monday, Oct 30 & 31 at 7:00 pm
Blue Panther Productions and Symmetry Theatre present Conor McPherson’s psychological thriller, spun from Hitchcock’s famous horror film. It’s performed in the Pardee Home Carriage House, 672 11th Street near Downtown Oakland, Oct 21-Nov 6.
Directions: The Pardee Home and Museum is 4 blocks west of the 12th Street BART Station. Central Parking facility is one block away on Martin Luther King.
The Story
Diane and Nat are strangers, trapped in a house in the countryside. If they leave they risk being attacked, their eyes pecked out and their bodies left to rot. They must find a way to survive, to escape their prison even as the secrets and lies between them grow deeper and more deadly.
Directed by Chloe Bronzan, starring Martha Brigham*, Kevin Kieta, Laura Lundy, and Robert Parsons *, The Birds has an exclusive 3 weekend run in the Carriage House of Oakland’s 1869 Pardee Home, a part of the estate rarely open to the public.
