Washington High's annual Hall of Merit dinner, a fundraiser for the SF public school, to honor Dr. Barbara Huberman Liskov, Class of Spring 1957, a tech pioneer when there were no women in the computer field to speak of, with her induction into the GWHS Hall of Merit. She's been awarded the Turing Cup which is considered "the Nobel Prize of computing" and has been inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame, and those are just two of her well-deserved recognitions. Come pay tribute and meet this remarkable woman! Also, the Portraits of former Principals Vidal, Mitchell, Morishige and Ishibashi will be unveiled.
