Hack and Play

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Plug and Play (see times)
Developers, designers and marketers unite for a day and a half of fun, challenging the arcade entertainment industry’s status quo. Grab a friend, come solo, or create a team in advance and join us on February 28th and March 1st as we tackle two industry challenges. Choose to help create efficiencies in the operation and administration of the 100,000’s of thousands of games in the marketplace. Or help develop ways to enhance the player’s experience that are fresh and relevant using today’s technologies. Either way get registered today before participant slots fill up, as the capacity for the event is set at 100.

Bay Tek Games will provide a few products for the event, including the new arcade version of Flappy Bird. The products will be connected to Dquid’s technology allowing developers to hack away and create solutions for the challenges outlined at the start of the event. Teams with the best solution for each challenge will be awarded exposure of their concept at the Amusement Expo trade show in March in the Bay Tek Games booth. With large customer partners such as Dave & Buster’s, Chuck E. Cheese’s and Wal-Mart, there is hope that the solutions can truly become game changers for an industry that has opportunity for growth. The winners will also be awarded contract work to refine the solutions leading up to the trade show.

The event is free but participants must register at https://www.baytekhackandplay.splashthat.com.
