Haceteria: Vereker

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Haçeteria is excited to bring you a DJ set from one the fastest rising starts of techno scene, SF based VEREKER. Vereker’s first EP dropped early this year on the fresh and relevant Long Island Electrical System (L.I.E.S.) label with tracks described as “...designed to rip the listener apart like a sickened animal on the loose.” His second EP was just released with promises of “a grim picture of the decaying present and lost future.”

After Vereker, Haçeteria residents NIHAR and JASON P, who double as the founders of the shrouded in shadows Warm Leatherette party, will work the late night dancefloor and take us on a journey into various blackened corners of techno, acid and rave. Haçeteria residents TRISTES TROPIQUES and SMAC will be our tour guides on our initial descent into the abyss.

Expect this edition to get deep, dark, and heavy.

About Haçeteria:

Club Haçeteria was founded with a desire to bring to light dusty records that have for too long been denizens of the dollar bin along with cuts that have been perched upon a pedestal too far out of reach. Haçeteria also tasks itself with the aim to bring outsider tracks from today to a spotlight pointed on the dancefloor. What started as a nod to mid and late 1980s electronic dance music evolved to a hazy laser guided celebration of acid, rave, and more modern incarnations deeply vested in their analog origins. Situated in a rich and vibrant area, Haçeteria curates locally sourced talent to perform live analog hardware sets.
