This September Haceteria welcomes back Greg Zifcak aka Hauser/Quaid. The last time around he performed as Breath Control and blew us away. We’ve also seen him in other disguises such as Illegal Mindz and Reticular Activating System. In September we expect more back to basics home brewed live electronics as well as mind blowing visual projections, which have recently been popping up in collaborations with Blondes and solo efforts like the Venetian Sun and Threshold Morphologies videos.

Doc Sleep ~ Jacktone Records ~ DJ Set
Doc Sleep has been one of our favorites for a long while and even helped us get our start at the Deco Lounge way back in 2010 as Hacienda SF. The Doc has been Djing around San Francisco for nearly a decade at this point and has been involved with So Emotional, Hot Pants, and Dots and Loops. Dr Sleep has also guested alongside Honey Soundsystem at Juanita More’s Booty Call, Go Bang!, Stay Gold, Bearracuda, and the official Folsom after party, Deviants. More recently Doc has been one of the driving forces behind recent Bay Area label Jacktone Records, featuring artists such as Haceteria alum Jay Fields aka Exillon.

Haçeteria also tasks itself with the aim to bring outsider tracks from today to a spotlight pointed on the dancefloor. What started as a nod to mid and late 1980s electronic dance music evolved to a hazy laser guided celebration of acid, rave, and more modern incarnations deeply vested in their analog origins. Situated in a rich and vibrant area, Haçeteria curates locally sourced talent to perform live analog hardware sets.
