Description

Meditate in the galleries! In conjunction with Silence and Himalayan Pilgrimage: Sacred Space, Oakland-based meditation and dharma teacher Spring Washam leads the final hour-long guided meditation offered in partnership with Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Marin County.

A founding member and core teacher at the East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, Washam is a pioneer in bringing mindfulness-based healing practices to diverse communities. Drawing on her training in indigenous healing traditions, she works with individual students from around the world and regularly leads meditation retreats locally and throughout the U.S.

These sessions are appropriate for both experienced and beginning practitioners. Please bring a pillow or mat to make yourself comfortable on the gallery floor.
