What's included:
* A Mission bicycle and helmet
* A 3-hour guided tour with 10+ destination stops
* Lunch, with excellent veg/vegan options available
At 5:12 AM on April 18, 1906 a violent and now infamous earthquake jolted the San Francisco Bay Area. The shaking and fire that followed left three quarters of the city homeless and forever altered California's procession into the 20th Century. To this day scars, remnants, and reminders are plentiful throughout the city, if you know where to look. Thankfully we do, and we'll show you.
We'll ride through stories from the earthquake and fire, the aftermath for the residents who remained, and the physical impacts still present today. Using landmarks and historical photographs you'll see the "gateway to the Pacific" then and now, and even hear the 42-second quake reimagined in theater sound.
Please note: This is an all-ages tour but we do not have bicycles available for people under 4'11".
