Grey Fyr are new to the local scene, but they've already carved out a unique sound in San Jose's indie landscape. The five-piece mix bubblegum melodies, jangly guitars, rocking bass lines and tribal drum beats into a funky alt-rock package that dips its toes into a feel-good worldbeat sound. Lead singer Allie Proctor and guitarist Sharvil Gupta's crisp harmonies make the songs feel like a celebration.
