Green World, Blue Flower: Compassion, Kairos, and the Regenerative Society

SEE EVENT DETAILS
at Goethe Institut German Cultural Center (see times)
Nature can exist without the city - but there is no city without nature! The awareness and compassion of nature is necessary for a city's performance. But not only the compassion of nature…

As part of our exhibition “Weltstadt – who creates the city” we have invited Marc Barasch to give a lecture: „Green World, Blue Flower: Compassion, Kairos, and the Regenerative Society“.

Marc Barasch is the author of the bestseller The Compassionate Life. He edited culture-shifting magazines like Psychology Today, Natural Health, and New Age Journal; created environmental TV specials viewed by billions; and wrote seminal books on holistic health and numinous dreams. A persistent catalyst for social change, he helped incept the compassionate cities movement. He founded the Green World Campaign in 2006 to restore degraded landscapes, alleviate poverty, and increase food security in communities struggling on the front lines of climate change. The goal is audacious: “ReGreen the World in One Generation!”
