Eurostache
The eurostache group is a project centering around electro-acoustic real-time collaborative experiments in sound. The core ensemble is frequently augmented with guests from the San Francisco Bay Area. Membership is open to anyone as our sonic concept is flexible and allows people from diverse sonic backgrounds to participate.

Our key experimental technique is using unique hand-built and circuit-bent instruments (See SonicNomadic section) in unusual combinations with traditional ones. The instruments are amplified (often with hand-built transducers) and blended with digital effects to produce a raw organic/electronic sound. Musical constructs such as rhythm, scale, and harmony are given lower priority to open-up the sonic landscape to other possibilities. Performances often include visual elements, audience participation, and improvisation, to convey story, mood, or emotion.

Dave Kendall
Dave Kendall is from Southern California and works with improvisation, noise, and experimental composition. He began performing around 1999, and in the past decade has released work on several noise and experimental record labels, and worked with a number of improvisers and noise artists. The current project is an attempt to reconcile the “inner logic” of computer synthesis with a more intuitive organization of time and frequency, using digital noise and rational pitch relationships.

Midmight!
Midmight was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and now lives to the west of that way; performs wearing a lampshade on the head and using all four limbs' often plays the Sirkut SNB, the Jayemsonic Resonator Neuronium, piano, misc. electronics, and the Roland GR 77 bass synth; finds gold in old family reel-to-reel recordings and field recordings, especially those that involve hockey or the music of country Clare.
