GLIDE PRIDE TEAM AND SPRINGLICIOUS PRESENT BLINGLICIOUS

GLIDE Pride Team and Springlicious present Blinglicious, an
annual festive drag extravaganza to help raise funds for the GLIDE
Pride Team’s San Francisco Pride Parade float efforts as well as
community outreach.
"Blinglicious" is the Glide Pride Team's 5th annual Springlicious
drag extravaganza featuring some of San Francisco’s most
fabulous drag queens and kings performing all the latest hits.
A member of San Francisco's Imperial Court will be on hand to
support Springlicious this year.

Hosted by Sparkle Sinclaire, Blinglicious will feature performances
by Sapphire Shade, Sasha Scion, Blaze, Lady Dominique, Momma’s Boyz, Amber Gray and Tamia, Racine.

GLIDE has been hailed for its significant contributions to civil rights causes and
its support to the LGBTQ community even before the Stonewall Era. Founders,
Reverend Cecil Williams and Janice Mirikitani have been leaders in the struggle
for LGBTQ rights in San Francisco since the 1960s, when Reverend Williams
began performing same-sex unions and Mirikitani advised and defended LGBT
street youth. GLIDE’s participation in the San Francisco Pride Parade goes all
the way back to the parade’s beginning in 1970. Glide continues to be one of the
few churches that consistently march in the SF Pride Parade year-after-year.

The GLIDE Pride Team is a dynamic group of diverse, creative, highly energetic
LGBTQ and Hetero-fabulously straight “cheerleaders” who take great pride in
leading GLIDE’s efforts to promote equality for the LGBTQ community. Our
mission is to educate the world on social justice, celebrate unconditional love and
acceptance, have a bold presence, support GLIDE's mission and give back to
marginalized communities in need. We host monthly meetings and a number of
community events to raise awareness of our group’s mission, cause and purpose.
