Getting Your Mind in Shape for the New Year Through Meditation

If we want to release stress and mental and emotional discomfort, increase our vitality, and connect with the world in the most beautiful, harmonious, and powerful way, strengthening our mind through meditation is the key.


Now is the best time to lose the weight of our heavy emotions, feelings, and habits in the new year and focus on having a healthier and stronger mind.

Just like a yoga teacher helps you improve your postures and get into shape, a qualified meditation teacher can help you see how your mind works more clearly and help you achieve better results from meditation.

In this session, local meditation master Orgyen Chowang Rinpoche will lead a guided meditation and share techniques we can use to dissolve thoughts, emotions, and stress that create discomfort in our minds and conflict in our lives. With these techniques, we can:
• Increase our mental and emotional strength
• Feel content, powerful, and vibrantly alive every moment, no matter what we are doing
• Improve our relationships by increasing our love and compassion
• Connect authentically with our loved ones, friends, family, business associates and the rest of humanity

By mastering these techniques, we can stabilize a feeling of satisfaction, delight, and security, have the strength and power to deal with whatever challenges we face, and delight in the joys of our life not through insatiable need, but as majestic extensions of our true state of mind.

Beginners welcome! No previous background with meditation is necessary.
