Forage Kitchen is hosting a Pop Up Event in the heart of Oakland’s Art District at Uptown Body and Fender on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 5:30pm-9:00pm. A combination of foraged food, craft beer, and wines will be complemented with all help to showcase why neighbors helping neighbors never goes out of style.
Rebuilding Together Oakland performs critical home rehabilitation, falls prevention and small repairs sorely needed by low-income seniors, veterans and disabled homeowners. Our teams, combined with volunteers, skilled trade volunteers, and community partners ensure that our clients live in safety, good health and with the dignity they deserve. Since 1993, our volunteers have repaired and modified over 1,100 homes and 111 facilities throughout Oakland. Presently, we provide repairs and modifications to more than 140 homes annually.
