Gary Flores is the Bay Area’s most renowned Latin Jazz musician today. A native of San Francisco, he’s played trumpet and piano alongside some of the greatest Latin Jazz musicians from New York to Puerto Rico. His former band, Salsa Caliente, played together for more than 20 years and gained national respect when recognized as the Best Salsa Group in the Bay Area. His musical creativity and individuality eventually ventured into another successful aspect of his career, Caliente 2000, a band where he enjoyed the freedom of playing with a multitude of Latin and Jazz icons...
