The future has arrived in San Francisco. Its home—Temple Nightclub's Future Factory; a weekly event that showcases cutting edge artists at one of the world's most innovative clubs.
Just last year, Temple SF underwent a months-long renovation that not only revamped the legendary club, but revitalized San Francisco's nightlife industry. Complete with two futuristic-looking rooms, an unrivaled Void sound system, and state-of-the-art lights and visuals, #TheNewTemple is transforming the Bay Area nightlife experience.
While the other-worldly redesign of the new Temple is enough to leave partygoers in awe, the talent roster of the flagship Future Factory event is equally impressive. From Deep House to NuDisco, Future House and Techno, Temple continues to bring internationally renowned artists such as Amine Edge & Dance, Sirius Hood, Chocolate Puma, My Digital Enemy, Nora En Pure, Worthy, and Ardalan to the Future Factory, with many more top-tier artists set to follow.

They probably have Chuckie's latest bootleg, but they also likely have every song Jamie Jones played last night at their favourite Ibizan club, DC10. Their songs are in Britney's playlists and Switch’s. They have had a world wide number one, yes, but they also have a growing list of Beatport hits, made only for the club. They are as comfortable in Morocco, as a guest of the king, performing before 90,000 people, as they are in a Berlin basement performing for 90. For them, in music and in life, it's the differences that make the difference, whether it be a 1950's Italian folk song, juxtaposed with a fruity techno beat (go on, you know the one), or dinner in Monaco one day, Berghain the next, Johnson and Sylvester have had a pretty good few years touring the world.
But rather than rest on their laurels, including their critically acclaimed debut album, Ladies and Mentalmen, not to mention their ARIA award amongst countless others worldwide, the first half of 2014 saw them hit the studio in a massive way including numerous trips back and forth to Melbourne for some intense studios sessions with their favorite collaborator, DCUP. Determined to put some fun back into the music, with nods to the style that got them touring the world in the first place, the fruits of these sessions will be revealed over the coming months, with a huge swathe of YBC and DCUP collabs in the works, the first of which, the Rodriguez sampling Sugar Man, is ready for release just in time to catch the European summer. They have also teamed up with Latin pop star Mayra Veronica for the Carmen Miranda cover, Mama Yo, which has already started to heat up the European charts and has been touted as a summer smash.
Their releases on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label have seen them regularly touring stateside to a growing fan base and with a number of releases set for the coming months, their platinum flying status looks set to remain while their pivotal role in seminal Aussie label Sweat It Out has seen them maintain their legendary status in their home country.
With over a decade of Djing under their belts, and musical influences that extend far beyond their native Sydney, from old school hip hop, to Chicago house, to techno to pretty much everything in between. Bondi beach locals at heart, when they are not in the studio or playing at the biggest clubs and festivals in the world, you'll find them at the beach catching waves. But it's out of the water they are most excited about, with the rise in popularity of the deeper sides of house, they are again stoked with where music is headed, and where their take on music fits within the scene.
