San Francisco CA - To encourage pet adoptions in San Francisco, Chicken Soup for the Soul, the world’s favorite and most recognized storyteller will join forces with Family Dog Rescue beginning October 27 through November 7.
Chicken Soup for the Soul, which has been producing its bestselling dog food for over ten years, is donating 10,000 pounds of pet food to support the shelter’s homeless animal initiatives. They will also give a bag of pet food and a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Dog Did What? or Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Cat Did What? by Amy Newmark to all new pet parents who adopt from Family Dog Rescue during this time frame.
Family Dog Rescue is located at 255 Alabama Street in San Francisco. Its adoption center is open daily by appointment only. Family Dog Rescue’s operating hours are as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; closed Wednesdays.
