Friends W/O Benefits refuse to play by anyone else's rules. They aren't trying to secure an opening slot for some "hot, new, up and coming talent you just can't miss." WHITE TRASH NINJA and Cadet Edac give everything they have wherever they may go be it in a friends' basement of nine, a dive bar that seats nineteen or a stage meant for nine-hundred, Friends W/O Benefits look onward to the future by leading the way back to what once made music great.... forget hype, try experience!
Cables & Arms
While Cables & Arms is clearly a band that embraces the roots of post-hardcore punk – that is to say fast and loud with some rather strong opinions about pop culture - you won't find any 3-chord screamo angst here. All from experienced touring bands, the four San Francisco based members draw from such influences as Quicksand, Knapsack and Hot Snakes and pour the frustrations of daily life and the passions they ignite into high energy melodies delivered with equal parts intricacy and fury.
Daydream
Daydream may be a new, but Kyle Martin, Scott Goodrich, and Travis Pacheco have been playing music together for the past decade. After the ending of past bands, some time apart, and an almost fatal illness, they began putting together their open letter to the past few years – a small collection of songs detailing self realization, change, and loss.
