Are you interested in Germany and German culture? Are you looking for an opportunity to improve your German language skills? Do you enjoy German films? Then this is your event!
Every third Friday of the month, the Goethe-Institut San Francisco will present recent German films ranging from small, independent productions to box office hits. We will start into the summer with Andreas Dresen's tragicomedy "Whisky with Vodka". All screenings are in German with English subtitles. Admission is free!
PLOT:
When ageing actor Otto Killberg has a few too many and misses a day of shooting, his producer double-casts his role. The rivalry between Otto and his replacement Arno Runge results in a web of intrigue on set, entangling more than just the two actors.
