Find out how the Foothill College Child Development Program can lead to a rewarding career working with children and families by attending the Child Development Orientation Friday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 7 p.m. in Room J-7 at the Foothill College Middlefield Campus in Palo Alto. Admission and parking are free.
Foothill's Child Development Program is designed for people who are new to the early care and child development fields, as well as for those who are experienced child development professionals who want to pursue continued professional development.
Child Development Orientation Night highlights include a presentation detailing the requirements for the Associate in Arts (AA) Degree in Child Development and six program specialty certificates. In addition to a discussion of the required courses for employment in early childhood education programs, an introduction to earning the California Child Development Permit will be provided.
Additional information session activities will give you the opportunity to meet one to one with program faculty and students, the child development permit advisor, counselors, tour Foothill's Middlefield Campus, and learn more about program requirements, the application process, admissions and financial aid.
