Fourth Annual Y For Youth Luncheon: Fire Up the StartUps

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The YMCA of San Francisco is hosting its fourth annual Y For Youth Luncheon on Friday, March 20 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Each year, more than 400 corporate, philanthropic and community leaders come together to support the YMCA of San Francisco youth, with programs serving more than 10,000 youth in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties every day.
From pre-school and overnight camps, to ballet and swimming lessons, the YMCA of San Francisco supports the community’s future leaders, with hundreds of programs across the Bay Area. Proceeds from the Y For Youth Luncheon: Fire Up the StartUps help ensure that all youth have the opportunity to become successful, healthy, confident adults, regardless of age, ability, or income.
“We’re committed to empowering the youth of the Bay Area to become our future leaders,” said Chuck Collins, President and CEO of the YMCA of San Francisco. “With your support, we can help the youth of the Bay Area reach their full potential – and become the next big thing.”
From Puma Prevents launched by youth at Burton High School to educate young men about rape prevention and violence against women to Primed and Prepped, a work force development culinary program prepping the next generation of chefs for the workforce, This year’s event focuses on the wide variety of “startups” within the Y.
Individual tickets for the Y For Youth Luncheon: Fire Up the StartUps start at $500 while sponsorships run $5,000 to $50,000 and are available online at http://www.ymcasf.org/yforyouth, or by calling (415) 281-6780.
The YMCA of San Francisco wishes to thank the following sponsors of the Y for Youth Luncheon: PG&E, Lindsay & Peter Joost, Macquarie Air Finance, Swirl, and Randi and Robert Fisher.
