Stealth Tactics aka Resolve & Hastings is a duo that is representing the Pacific Northwest region of Oregon. This team highlights the ability to mash up Ragga Jungle, Drum & Bass and Breakbeats while throwing in samples of Hip-Hop a capella’s and sound effect records for scratching. Resolve is a veteran of the mighty Primitive Science crew, and with this tag team project, seized 3rd place in this year’s Dystopia Mix Contest. This dynamic will amaze and astound with their signature Drum & Bass sound and turntablist’s style. Prepare to have this DNB recon team infiltrate your speakers!

HNGVR (pronounced ‘hangover’) aka Rob Orr is no newcomer to the Dystopia Drum & Bass arena. This year HNGVR made the move from Sardinia to San Francisco and slammed the dancefloor at Foundation back in July 2016 with his signature sound. With his recent release “Island of The Sun”, HNGVR delivers an EP that appears to reflect the multitude of emotions that can be experienced when making a huge shift. Kicking off with possibly his strongest dance tune to date, a collaboration with his Italian cohort Mudra, Digital Mantra is bouncy Drum & Bass with heaps of energy. The EP moves through a variety of emotions from there, utilizing halftime and footwork influences and rounds out nicely with another bouncy tune in Minimal Error. HNGVR made his debut on Muti Music in 2015 and followed it up quickly with releases on Elastica Records, with tunes that were then also licensed to a host of Italian labels like Faders United, Music Fit Kriterium, Bud Step Economy and Mama Productions. He closed out 2015 with his Komorebi EP that again blended the influences of Trip Hop, Halftime and Drum & Bass to maximum effect, solidifying the fact that HNGVR is someone to keep an eye on.
