Dystopia Drum & Bass presents an extraordinary gathering experience in the heart of downtown Oakland’s newest venue. Dystopia is Oakland’s premiere Drum & Bass monthly every 4th Friday at Lounge 3411. We are dedicated to joining forces with local crews to generate memorable nights of auditory satisfaction. Foundation 13.0 is here and occurs at BRIX 581 every 2nd Friday of the month.

Raised in Ct., now residing in Florida, Jaybee is definitely one to keep your eye on. With releases forthcoming on Liquid V, Chronic, Innerground, Good Looking, Mac II and a slew of other labels his music keeps going from strength to strength. Born to a radio DJ father he was raised listening to a wide range of music genres that led him to hip hop and later on, Drum and Bass. Always fascinated with watching the dj's in hip hop videos, Jaybee obtained his first set of turntables at the age of 13 and started playing hip hop. A few years later he was intrigued by a friends "techno" compilation and wore out the hit the decks megamix series tape and found his love in breakbeats which led him to a outlaw Jungle party thrown by Digital Konfusion. It was at this event that Jaybee first discovered Jungle while witnessing DJ ODI double set Ray Kieth's "Terrorist", discovering it was possible to incorporate hip hop skills into Jungle. Flash forward 17 years and you can find him doing a weekly show on Bassdrive.com every Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. est. as well as doing A&R for Stepping Forward Recordings or in the studio working on whatever idea may roll through his head that day.
His music has received support by the likes of Bryan Gee, DJ Marky, DJ Storm, D Bridge, LTJ Bukem, DJ Randall, DJ Vapour, A-Sides, PFM, Trex, Physics Random Movement among a host of others.

Khromata, aka Eileen Lewis, is a passionate DJ who seeks to spread the cutting edge sound of the underground. She has adroitly crafted her signature fun, funky and unique style that has been embraced by dancers on frenzied dancefloors far and wide.
Khromata has a natural inclination for performance, and she exudes a genuine, passionate energy from behind the decks that is reciprocated by the dance floor. With a blend of honed technical skills, creativity, and an understanding of how to take dancers on a meaningful journey during her sets, she has been embraced globally through her performances, online mixes and radio show guest appearances. In the six years that she has been DJing, she has gained the respect from her peers for what she's accomplished by staying true to her sound and the music she loves. In this time she has played multiple undergrounds, renegades, warehouses, festivals, clubs and raves in and out of state, and she has played numerous opening and closing sets for legendary international headliners.
Khromata has been sought after by world renowned crews and labels. Currently, Khromata is a resident DJ for Pulse SF, one of the premier psychedelic trance event production crews in the United States; a label DJ for Digital Om Productions, a label based out of India with consistent high quality and chart topping releases, and Rune Recordings, a top breakbeat oriented label based out Ukraine.
