Black thumb? Do you kill parsley on your plate? Try the Floorcraft Garden Center at the foot of Bernal Heights (Courtland & Bayshore). Offshoot of a home improvement store on the block, a big laughing Buddha greets you at the gate. Little red wagons are there to help you shop. This is a big fun place and has a friendly staff. They will talk the aphids right off your roses if given the opportunity. Laid out for the beginner, everything is labeled.
