Fish Stories is the first of four exhibitions curated by Jennifer Colby, Ph.D., and presented by the Museum of Monterey. Featuring mixed media prints and science illustrations, these works explore the fascinating human stories of fishing by the native Rumsien, whalers from the Azores, squid fishermen from China, salmon fishermen and abalone divers from Japan, and Sicilians fishing sardines in the legendary sardine industry. This exhibition also features illustrations by CSUMB Science Illustration Program alumni and instructor Amadeo Bachar.
