The Foothill College Theatre Arts Department presents "First-Person Shooter" Nov. 7–23 in the Lohman Theater at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills. Tickets to all Thursday performances are $10.

Thursday performances are Nov. 13 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday shows are Nov. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. Sunday matinees are Nov. 9, 16 and 23 at 2 p.m. Audience Advisory: This play contains coarse, adult language.

Audiences will meet the proprietors of a successful Silicon Valley video game company who are under siege in the media and court of public opinion after the perpetrator of a racially charged school shooting identifies their game as inspiration for his shooting rampage. Timely, gripping and intense, this story vividly examines the nature of such incidents dominating today’s headlines.

The show’s ensemble includes Chris Macrae of Atherton; Steven Ho of Cupertino; Nick Louie of Hillsborough; Melissa Baxter, Amanda Camillo, Anna Lee, Sam Nachison, Sean Okuniewicz and Gabriel Omega of San Jose; Alexandra Allen of San Mateo; and Fredric Lagerblad of Sunnyvale.

Additional production credits include Elizabeth Stimson, assistant direction; Carol Clever, costume design; Ben Sanders, scenic design; Sean Kramer, lighting design; Mirek Marcinkowski, video projections; Katherine Arguello, properties design; Matt Vandercook, sound design; and Fernanda de Carvalho, stage management. Written by Aaron Loeb and originally produced by the San Francisco Playhouse, "First-Person Shooter" was originally commissioned and developed by PlayGround.
