Filbert Steps

City , Landmark , Tours & Travel , Walking Tour

The Filbert Street Steps, cut from Coit Tower on Telegraph Hill down to the Embarcadero. The steps run through the Grace Marchant Garden, which resident Grace Marchant started in 1949 and is now tended to and paid for by the residents of the "street." If you're looking for a strenuous walk, the steps could be called a stair master from hell - feel the burn as you climb.
