| Description Feria is a term used in Latin American countries to denote a festival, often associated with the religious holiday of a town’s patron saint, making each event unique to the village in which it is held. The main affair during feria is a source of communal cultural renewal as well as a rite of passage. Feria is a time for collective thought and memory, an enclosed world view shared solely by the inhabitants of each village. Liam Sinnott has been documenting ferias in both the Highlands and Lowlands of Latin America since 2006. Over time Liam has made repeat visits, bringing photos back to the community for posterity which has allowed him to forge a relationship with its members. Have a glass of wine and enjoy the exhibit!
