The San Francisco-based men’s brand, FAZE Apparel is teaming up with SoMa StrEat Food Park and SF Marin Food Bank to hold a massive food drive. With the holidays fast approaching and an increasing number of San Franciscans struggling with hunger, the local fashion, food, and music industries are joining forces to help feed those who need some assistance this Thanksgiving.
We will be working closely with the SF Marin Food Bank, which is one of the most active food banks in the Bay Area. With their efforts, they reach more than 147,000 people in need of food assistance each week of the year. The goal for our Feed SF Food Drive is to raise 1,000 pounds of food for the SF Marin Food Bank. Also, attendees of the event will have the opportunity to win a list of items through our various raffles. Clothing from local brands, artwork created by live artists at the event, gift certificates from local restaurants and more will all be raffled off at the event and the proceeds will be donated to the SF Marin Food Bank.
Some of the Bay Area's best food trucks will be selling their delicious eats to supporters of the cause. For any food cans donated at the event, donors will receive a discount from their favorite food truck and other special perks.
To liven things up even more, celebrity radio host, Chuy Gomez, will be hosting the event and DJ Mind Motion as well as other local DJs will provide the music. Some of the sponsors of this year’s event include: True Clothing, Papalote Mexican Grill, Mister SF, New Jack City Vintage Boutique, Mishka SF, Shoe Biz, Fully Laced, Infinite SF, and more. Along with our sponsors, we have a handful of brands that will be in attendance to sell their unique products.
