EVIDENCE, A DANCE COMPANY, based in Brooklyn, NY fuses traditional African dance with contemporary choreography and spoken word to provide a unique view of the human experience. Founder and choreographer Ronald K. Brown’s newest work, Two-Year Old Gentleman, is an homage to the traditions passed down from one generation of men to another. Inspired by the relationship between Brown’s young nephew and his grandfather (who passed away last year at age 80), Two Year Old Gentleman poses questions about male responsibility – to one’s community, to one’s family and to one’s self.
