We're bringing multimedia storytelling, fine dining, and philanthropy together for a one-of-a-kind pop-up dinner series where you'll learn the stories behind the people and places responsible for your meal. Join us on July 8 for a Native American-inspired meal prepared by Bay Area Chef Caesare Assad, along with some guidance from acclaimed Potawatomi Chef Loretta Barrett Oden. Trained in Native American food traditions under Chef Oden, Chef Assad will pay tribute to her mentor with an interpretation of Chef Oden's traditional Native American recipes. The meal will feature Seka Hills olive oil, heirloom vegetables from Full Belly Farm, and locally sourced salmon, quail egg, and game. A portion of the proceeds will be donated the Oakland-based nonprofit co-op, Mandela Marketplace.
