| Description Join the museum and the Oakland Public Library in celebrating the end of the Library’s Summer Reading Program. Check out mystifying magic with Timothy James, art activities, cartooning with author Oliver Chin, dancing on the outdoor stage, scavenger hunt, story times, science activities with folks from Lawrence Hall of Science, and free frozen treats from Dreyer’s at the end of the day (as long as supplies last). A ceremony honors all the children who completed the Summer Reading Program. Free Second Sundays are sponsored by Wells Fargo, the City of Oakland, and the Oakland Museum Women’s Board. |
