Fake Blood & Sinden

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Fake Blood is the alter-ego of Theo Keating [one half of Black Ghosts] who's long-awaited debut album dropped in 2012 - “Cells”. "Yes/No” is the first single to be released from A track with a haunting piano riff that builds into a refrain of the title, combined with a trademark juggernaut bass line, it’s the perfect introduction to Fake Blood’s burgeoning new career.

A tried and tested format for the captivating producer, the song paves the way to “Cells”, which was released on November 9 2012. Renowned for his hi-octane, genre-defying productions, this record is set to be one of the standout albums of the year.

Few DJs/producers have truly trashed the rulebook like Fake Blood. When his remixes snuck onto the dance scene, he shied away from the spotlight and, like a dance floor ninja, managed to keep his identity firmly under wraps. There were no gimmicks, no stadium-sized headpieces or fancy dress masks to obscure him, just a desire for club heads to absorb his music without any preconceptions. As an expert in precision, Fake blood delivers true chaos to the dance floor with frenetic energy and snappy cuts.

Even now, he is still something of an enigma. He doesn’t prey on fame, he does very few interviews and he isn’t part of a DJ crew: he has always preferred to let his music speak for itself. He’s been in no hurry to release a record either – until now, that is. Fake Blood has found a home on Different Recordings (Liberator Music/[PIAS] locally), which counts club crusaders like Tiga and Vitalic among its roster.
