Everyone Is Dirty Live Performance & Signing - Free & All Ages

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Amoeba and Converse Rubber Tracks are proud to welcome the violin-wielding art-rock band Everyone Is Dirty to the Amoeba SF stage!

Formed in 2013, Everyone Is Dirty has been steadily rising on the strength of their hard-hitting home recordings (described as "bedroom-tapes on bath-salts") and their dynamic live show. Backed by Christopher Daddio on guitar, Tony Sales on drums, and Tyler English on bass, singer/violinist Sivan Lioncub has been called a "walking art-project." Her live presence is as mesmerizing as it is invigorating, and she often shreds on electric violin while wielding the microphone with fiery confidence and swagger.

The singles "Mama No," "Devastate," and "Isn't It Great" all saw radio spins on LIVE 105 in 2014, earning the band a slot to play the station’s annual BFD Festival in June. They then released their debut LP Dying Is Fun in September on SF’s Tricycle Records. The album was selected by both SF Weekly and The Bay Bridged as part of their Best albums of 2014 features.

2015 sees Everyone Is Dirty continuing to establish themselves as a compelling live act both regionally and nationally. The band played sold-out shows at The Mezzanine and The Rickshaw Stop, toured the Western US, and received invitations to play the Noise Pop, Treefort, and Phono Del Sol Music Festivals.

After a terrifying brush with death due to a drug allergy that put Sivan in the hospital for the first part of 2015, Everyone Is Dirty is excited to be gigging again and back to work on a new EP, which they will release later in the year.

Also catch them every Tuesday night in May at Amnesia.
