Espalier Pruning with Chris Ingram

Chris will discuss the proper selection, planting, and early training of espaliered fruit trees; proper pruning and structuring of existing espaliered fruit trees; as well as the key differences in pruning needs between types of fruit trees. The class will be part classroom lecture and part field demonstration (weather permitting).
Chris Ingram is an ISA certified arborist and an APA Certified Aesthetic Pruner with 30+ years of experience in arboriculture and pruning. He is an instructor of Aesthetic pruning at Merritt College in Oakland and has been a guest instructor with the Master Gardener program in Marin.
