#LakeCountyRising

1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Featured cocktails:
The Golden Hydrant regularly $12 will be $8 all day ($1 is a donation)
Jameson Black Barrel Cocktails $8 all day
Cutty Sark Prohibition Cocktails $8 all day
4505 BBQ included with $5 donation and drink purchase (freeloaders will not be tolerated)
Elixir, San Francisco's historic and multi-award winning Mission District saloon, announced the first cocktail on tap to be released at the bar, which will donate $1 from every cocktail sold from that tap to a rotating list of non-profits that support relief efforts for the rampant, annual wildfires devastating California and the American West. The tap and cocktail will officially launch during the bar's 12th anniversary party on Saturday, November 21st, starting at 1pm, with food provided by longtime Elixir neighbor and friend, Chef Ryan Farr and his renowned 4505 BBQ.
The first cocktail to be featured is also called The Golden Hydrant. The drink includes Bulleit Bourbon, which Ehrmann says has been a very popular whiskey at Elixir since the brand's launch in San Francisco. The second ingredient is Top Hat Provision's Ginger Beer Syrup, created by San Francisco veteran bartender Shane McKnight. McKnight's extensive experience in large scale kegged cocktail service is also being utilized in the system design; along with consultation from John Cuff at Tap'd Draft Solutions and Dan Donahoe of Free Flow Wines (two wine taps were also installed in the process).
In addition to The Golden Hydrant launch and food by 4505 BBQ, the party will feature drink specials that highlight Elixir's collection of over 400 whiskies, including the Bulleit line of American whiskies, the Jameson family of Irish whiskies, the Edrington Group line of Scotch whiskies (Macallan, Highland Park, Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse).
The first designated charity will be The Lake County Rising Fire Relief Fund to assist in this summer's devastating Valley Fire. #LakeCountyRising http://www.lakecountywinegrape.org/news-events/valley-fire-relief-fund/
