“If all we have are dreams, then dream big,” spits Elliot Wright, frontman and philosopher for the five-piece, California Beat Rock troubadours, Eliquate. Unlike most MCs, Wright didn’t start writing until later in his life. His love for words pushed him to jot down more than just lyrics but meaningful messages for Wright’s peers to think about and connect with. Since 2009 Wright has graced the stage solo and with his band members with underground royalty such as Murs, Del the Funky Homosapien, Zion-I and RJD2 just to name a few.

Inquell was raised on electric drums and started scratching in the late 90's. His love for samples and bass heavy music kept him inspired as he continued to produce tracks and win dj battles. As both DJ and bboy funk breaks have stayed close to his heart. Keeping true to the origins of rocking a party he's focused on staying original while honoring the roots.

In a world of constant duality, the music of B 1 lives as both timeless expressions of art, and as physical manifestations of feelings, emotions and rock and roll brought into this world. The vast area, energies and freedoms of California have served as an imperative foundation to the creation of this music, providing an abundance of both inspiration and opportunity.
