Eleanor Harwood has opened the Eleanor Harwood Gallery in time for the 2006 season of art shows in San Francisco. The programming of the gallery will focus on represented artists such as Emily Prince, Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough, John Chiara as well as hosting shows for less established artists to take risks in a professional gallery setting. Eleanor Harwood has become well known in the San Francisco arts community for curating the Adobe Books backroom gallery. Expect the new gallery space to have an energetic engagement with young artists, a strong community connection and a vigorous curatorial aesthetic.
