Started in 2015 and located in the Potrero/Mission area of San Francisco, Elastic Wall Projects (EWP) is a new alternative art space and curatorial endeavor created by artist and educator Trevor Tubelle. The aim of EWP is to breathe new life into the alternative art scene in the SF Bay Area by giving local artists new opportunities, as well as to inspire them (and other aesthetic/cultural practitioners and activists) to take risks while creating fresh, transgressive and thought-provoking art. EWP is an accessible venue and platform for the creation and presentation of cutting edge experimental work to a wide audience in the SF Bay Area community.
