People have flocked to the foggy city streets from all over the world for the Bay Area's infamous tricks and treats. Over the years the face of SF has begun to change - rapidly inflating rent prices, small businesses closing, an overabundance of fancy coffee shops, and tech employees filling our dive bars. This has taken a bit of the love, sparkle, and delicious grime from some of our local traditions. BUT this year Maxine Holloway and Val Killmore Castro are resurrecting all things creepy, sexy and radical back from the dead - we've invited our favorite local strippers, artists and zombies to create the ultimate brew of spook, humor, and sex. Please join us as we embrace the true outrageous spirit of a San Francisco Halloween - Eerie SF is San Francisco's ONLY spooky, smart and witty interactive haunted house and carnival show.
This isn't your regular ol' "jump out and scare people" haunt. We have taken all things scary about the influx of Bay Area start-ups and made them even SCARIER! Eerie SF is a clever and campy interactive tour through the newly launched haunted and cursed start-up, Ghougle dot com. Resurrected from the dot-com crash in 2000, Ghougle dot com is thriving and open again for business! Come and take a tour of the Ghougle dot com headquarters! See the new internet businesses that are housed in the decayed superstudio-style building---such as: Undeadpet dot com, YouTomb dot com, Scream dot com, Mummingtonpost dot com, OkLucifer dot com, etc.! Meet Mark Zombieberg and be the first to join his new social networking website---Deadalive dot com---the only place on the internet that connects the living with the dead! Witness a very special keynote, with Steve Jobs Back From the Dead! Come and rub elbows (if they are not already rotted off) with the newest dead digitaris that are taking San Francisco's start-up scene by storm!
After we terrorize you with the horrors of the tech industry, guests are invited to escape upstairs to the Carnival of Mayhem, full of tricks, treats, dancing and performances - sure to satisfy all of your debaucherous Halloween needs. The The Lusty Lady San Francisco, the most famous strippers in the Bay, will be hosting traditional carnival games with a dirty twist that only a good stripper can bring! Don’t forget your dollar bills -there will be lusty lap dances and pole tricks that will make you scream. DJ Carnita will be playing music that will keep your booty bouncing all night long. In between sets, we will delight you with amazing performances by Bombshell-Betty Field and her showgirl chorus for a super sparkly skeleton strip tease. 'The Craving' went on to the Cannes 2011 Film Festival Market, and received a worldwide distribution deal with TomCat Films, LLC. She has also served as Associate Program Director for the Coney Island Film Festival and Coney Island Film Society at Sideshows by the Seashore in Brooklyn’s most legendary and storied amusement park. Val is currently finishing up production on her second feature film, 'That Night'. A dark comedy about a dinner party gone terribly wrong. 'That Night' will be released this May 2014 under her production and distribution company Hellfire Cinema. She is also in pre-production for her next feature film, 'These Bloody Streets', a queer psychobilly urban western which will start production in Brooklyn, NY next Summer 2014. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Film at the San Francisco Art Institute. Val's favorite foods are jalepeno pizza and pineapples.
